Income Planning for Retirement
Intersecting streets sign: Spend and Save
Tuesday | March 26th - 6:30 PM | SoNo Branch Library
Retirement can be a very rewarding time in a person’s life, however planning for retirement and preparing to have the income that is required to meet ones needs can be quite challenging process. Many people want to secure a plan and know that they will not outlive their money in retirement as the safety net of their job and salary will be gone. As a nation we are nervous about retirement. More than a quarter of Americans, 28 percent, say that the specter of high medical expenses in old age worries them the most, according to recent surveys. The thought of running out of savings also gives people the jitters, with 23 percent of Americans identifying that as their biggest retirement worry.
During The Workshop You Will Learn:
  • How to calculate what your needs will be.
  • What your guaranteed sources of income are.
  • How to maximize your social security to improve cash flow.
  • If you collect a pension what are your options.
  • What is an acceptable rate of drawdown on my retirement savings. And how to prepare to adjust this.
