The Norwalk Library and & the National Organization of Italian American Women Connecticut Region Present: Murder in Matera: A True Story of Passion, Family, and Forgiveness in Southern Italy
Join us for a journey into the heart of Matera, the Italian city designated European Capital of Culture in 2020, with Helene Stapinski, author of Murder in Matera: A True Story of Passion, Family, and Forgiveness in Southern Italy. The author will read from and present her memoir which unveils a remarkable family saga while capturing the beauty, the grit, and the conditions of women's lives in southern Italy in the late 1800s. Audience participation is encouraged.
