Creating More Diverse Communities & Healthier Environments

Thursday, January 21, 2021

To honor the legacy of Martin Luther King Jr., the Norwalk Public Library is pleased to join the Norwalk River Watershed Association for the live webinar. Most Connecticut residents support equity, inclusive growth, and a clean and healthful environment. Join this webinar to learn how these three things are inextricably linked. You’ll discover how our communities can promote both equitable housing and better environmental stewardship – including better health for our watersheds. The talk will be given by DesegregateCT founder Sara Bronin, an architect and law professor. This talk is brought to you by the Norwalk River Watershed Association (NRWA), which has invited the libraries and communities of the watershed to attend. Please join us to explore how we can work together to provide clean water, clean air and access to nature for everyone in our 40,000 acre watershed. For additional information, and to register for this program, please contact Sally Nacker at: snacker@norwalkpl.or
