Tuesday, June 21, 2022
We know Hellen Keller as the blind and deaf young lady who overcame her disabilities to become a speaker, writer, and champion for those afflicted with blindness and deafness. This presentation, however, will delve into Hellen Keller's politics. For example, Hellen Keller was a member of the Socialist Party and became a member of the International Workers of the World or Wobblies. Keller was also friends with some of the leading Leftists of the day. The presentation will also explain Socialism, clarifying the difference between it and Marxism.
