"What's Going On? Kids and Parents Discuss the News"
Are you unsure how to talk to your children about the daily onslaught of negative news? Do you limit television consumption at home, but wonder how what they see and hear at school or online affects them? Since much of “what’s going on” is hard for adults, children may be confused. Dr Barbara Lavi, Clinical Child and Family Psychologist has designed a program to help families cope with these issues. The Children’s Resilience Project’s goal is to strengthen children and parents as they navigate these challenging times.
The event will be videotaped (the children’s identifying features will be hidden) and edited into a short educational video to help other parents, children and educators.
Preregistration is required and space is limited. Call today to reserve a spot. To read more about Dr. Lavi and this project, visit The Children’s Resilience Project on Facebook or call Dr Lavi at 203-515-8111.
