The Norwalk poets involved in 'Oysterville: Poems', share their chapbook and spoken word album.Laurel Peterson, Norwalk's outgoing poet laureate and a faculty member at NCC and 11 Norwalk poets have written 'Oysterville: Poems', which is both an audio book and a chapbook - a small pamphlet of fiction, often poetry - whose release was celebrated in 2018.
The project, the name of which celebrates Norwalk's history as a fishing hub, is a collaboration between Marc Alan, of Factory Underground, who recorded the album, Christopher Madden, of Woodhall Press, who published the chapbook, and Laurel Peterson, who developed the idea with Alan in the spring and put together the group of poets.
