  1. "Rocket Launching with the Discovery Museum of Bridgeport"

    The Norwalk Public Library and Discovery Museum staff have opened the partnership's hands-on-rocket launching program. Students and other library visitors will have the opportunity to engage with Discovery Museum staff in Engineering Design asking questions, brainstorming solutions, building prototypes, testing, evaluating, and redesigning their own paper rockets. Hours Now thru August 4th Sundays: 1 pm - 5 pm Mondays: 11 am - 7 pm Tuesdays: 11 am - 5 pm Wednesdays: 11 am - 7 pm Thursdays: 1 pm - 5 pm Fridays: 2 pm - 5 pm Saturdays: 1 pm - 5 pm

    The Norwalk Public Library has become an official Passport Application Acceptance Facility. U. S. Passport applications are accepted on a first come, first served basis. 1St Time Applicants Lost/ Stolen Passports Children's Renewals (Bring a completed DS-11 Passport Application Form) Please also bring A recent Passport Photo-2X2 Valid Driver's License, State Identification Card, Employee ID or Military ID Your original Birth Certificate or Naturalization Certificate (Certificate will be returned to address on your DS-11 application) Passport Fees Check or money order (NO CASH) made out to the U.S. Department of State will be accepted in the amount of $110.00 for adults and $80.00 for children, and a $35.00 fee by check or money order made out to Norwalk Public Library.     Get ready for another adventure in the library: a Stranger Things-themed Escape Room Challenge! An escape room is a real-life, life-size game in which players solve a series of puzzles using clues, hints and strategy. Players have exactly one hour to win the game. (No knowledge of Stranger Things is required or needed to play.) The Escape Room is a program for adults and older children.
