Each month, Tina will introduce you to some great nonfiction titles she has enjoyed and keep you in the know about similar titles to look for. Since this isn’t a book group, you’re not expected to have read in advance the books that Tina will be presenting, but attendees are an important part of Nonfiction Chat, and we look forward to your sharing with us what you’re reading now, great past reads, and your areas of interest. 10 Tips to Manage Stress

Up to 90% of all visits to the doctor’s office are stress-related, according to Harvard. Stress can be considered as much a risk factor for disease as smoking. Why can two people be in the same situation and respond to stress differently? Can going through stressful times without stress be a learned skill? Whatever your age or situation, this presentation will provide 10 tips to manage stress. Everyone will learn a technique to minimize stress and maximize vitality. Dr. Wendy Hurwitz, a graduate of Yale University School of Medicine, will run this session. This program is aimed at parents but your older children or teens are welcome to join in on the Zoom.
