Outdoor Walk & Tone / Jill Patterson RDN2022-08-10T12:00:00While walking is great exercise, in this program we will be focusing on a total body workout! In this class, participants will tone up, release tension from their bodies, boost their immune system, speed up their metabolism, connect with others, enjoy the outdoors, and feel their best! According to the Mayo Clinic, there are 5 components of a well-rounded fitness routine: cardiovascular endurance, strength training, core exercises, balance training, and flexibility. In this active outdoor class, participants will learn how to incorporate these 5 elements of fitness into their walking routine. We will walk, stretch, and target tone the arms, legs, and abs (without getting on the ground)! No equipment needed. Comfortable clothing and sneakers are recommended. Optional to bring water bottle and mesh/sport bag. In the event of rain, we will still hold this program inside as Indoor Walk & Tone!
